The challenge to this senior thesis project was merging two separate components together in a single cohesive piece:
The capstone portion of the project involved the senior class thoroughly researching the Gothic and Gothic Revival styles and implementing the attributes toward their own given trade. For the sake of simplicity and to eliminate confusion, the Gothic portion of this project is defined as the ornamental plaster enrichments found in the ceiling: the undulating vine and trifoil/flower enrichment within the cornice, and the ornamental boss/pendant found in the intersecting strapwork.
